| Double Safety has a name
The most reliable connection to the model – that is the wish of every RC-pilot.
With the all new weatronic® 2.4 GHz FHSS Dual RC system our development team offers you the most possible in reliability of your radio system.
•weatronic® 2.4 GHz Dual FHSS stands for Dual Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum in the 2.4 GHz ISM-Band.
•weatronic® 2.4 GHz Dual FHSS transmits and receives on 80 continuously hopping frequencies at a rate of less than 1/100 sec. Transmitter module and dual receiver are synchronized and follow the same algorithm.
•Turn on the system, take off, fly, and land –that’s all you need to care about. 120 systems or more can work at the same time. Interferences are basically impossible.
•What is the range? More than 9000 Feet on the ground, much more in the air.
•weatronic® 2.4 GHz Dual FHSS is an all new development of our engineering team – patents are pending.
The weatronic® development team has implemented the most possible in safety that can be squeezed out of the wide band technology. That is why we did not use complete IC modules that were developed for other applications.
The task at hand: European regulations allow no more than 100 mW EIRP *transmitter power output. At the same we want to guarantee a safe and reliable system. Only one transmission technology would stand up to the task: The FHSS-technology. FHSS stands for Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum.
The weatronic® system uses the most possible available number of channels. Depending on the country, up to 80 channels can be used. All these channels are normally used in a rapid random succession.
weatronic® has based the new 2.4 GHz Dual FHSS -RC-system on the adaptive frequency hopping technology, similar to the industry standard shared by Bluetooth® . 80 channels (frequencies) are used with a bandwith of 1 MHz. Channels that are found busy or disturbed are excluded at the time being until they are free again. In addition weatronic® also uses a forward error correction system which further enhances the safety of the system.
weatronic® 2.4 GHz Dual Receivers have two completely independent circuits. They provide redundancy and complete spatial diversity, supported through the use of two antennas. This enhances safety through avoidance of blocking, dead zones and - or fading.

The integrated on-board-electronic system
weatronic® constructed a new parallel product line based upon our 2.4 Dual FHSS technology. The integrated on board electronic system for big models, jets, gliders and helicopters will be available in five versions:
•Dual Receiver 2.4 Dual FHSS 12-22 R
•Dual Receiver 2.4 Dual FHSS 12-22 R Gyro II
•Dual Receiver 2.4 Dual FHSS 12-22 R Gyro III
•Dual Receiver 2.4 Dual FHSS 12-22 R Gyro III + GPS
•Dual Receiver 2.4 Dual FHSS 12-30 R Gyro III + GPS
We enhanced our strong double power supply, well known from our 35 and 72 MHz Dual Receivers, to handle the strongest digital servos being on the market. Now eight independent power circuits deliver each continuous 4.0 amps - altogether 32 amps - with a regulated voltage of selectable 4.8 or 6.0 Volts. New: two-axis respectively three-axis-gyros on board are now fully programmable heading lock versions. Large alloy heat sink in the bottom of the housing.

The 12-Channel Transmitter Module
The weatronic® transmitter module is mounted in a flat housing and will be fastened to the transmitter with adapter fittings. Available for all transmitters with changeable HF modules. A wire and an adapter housing similar to the original part connects the module with the transmitter. In case of installation inside the transmitter a printed circuit board is used.
Two Integrated planar antennas inside case: weatronic® 12-channel transmitter module for MC-24
The weatronic® module transmits and receives through two patch aerials on 12 channels. It logs all the transmitted and received data on a micro SD card which can be read out with the weatronic® GIGA control software. An acoustic signal (earplug) warns the pilot when the battery of the receiver has low voltage or the range is reaching the boundaries. The weatronic® system works as a frequency hopping spread spectrum with 80 channels (frequencies). The transmitting power is 100 mW EIRP*. The system complies with ETSI and FCC regulations.
* Equivalent Isotropic Radiated Power
